JEWELLERY CARE

How to care for your jewellery:

With any material, signs of wear can occur. With silver, and sometimes gold, the metals may tarnish. Tarnishing is a non-permanent, chemical change in the surface of the metal which darkens and dulls over time.

Recycled 925 Silver

Silver will tarnish with time - This is due to many factors we can't avoid, such as the environment. However, there are many things we can do to avoid tarnishing and also solve tarnishing.

Make accessorising the last thing you do. Silver doesn't like the chemicals in soaps, hairspray, perfume, creams.

Simply use a silver cloth to avoid and remove tarnished areas of your rings. It will give them a wonderful shine too.

Gold Vermeil Plating

All plating is done on silver and it is a thin layer of gold that is coated onto the jewellery. This can wear off over time, however, it can last longer when the right care is taken. We advise these items of jewellery to be the last thing to be put on in the morning and the first to be taken off at night. Showering and overnight wear will take off the plating quickly. If you would like your items re-plated just get in contact with us.
